Already have a WordPress. Email required Address never made public. However, the heavier car will gain more momentum. When we used the Blue Hot Wheel, it would not jump over the ramp or go around the loop so we had to change our car. We also performed the kinematics equations separately and compared our answers to make sure we got the same answer. My son is participating in a science fair at our homeschool co-op, and we've been searching for just the right experiment to keep his interest peaked.

Hot Wheels Acceleration Laboratory. Purpose. In this lab, you will be studying acceleration due to gravity by observing Hot Wheels cars on inclined planes. The instructor should hold a class discussion to tie this to friction to make sure that the students understand that friction is reducing the amount of useful mechanical energy that is converted to kinetic energy.
